Mike's 1st film in New Day, On The Line highlighted one the longest voluntary school desegregation programs in the country and its’ historical impact on the city of Boston. His latest film, CodeSwitching: Race and Identity in the Suburban Schoolhouse directed by Jonathan Schwartz, takes an intimate look at the life experiences of 5 generational students and their personal encounters as they navigate self-awareness and cultural boundries.
Mike’s collaborative efforts are taking shape as he focuses greater attention on social justice issues, transparency and Lifting Every Voice of those often marginalized and discounted.
