Claire Jones
Introduction (2-3 lines)
Claire Jones is thrilled be using the skills garnered in advertising to find meaningful work with an amazing Big Sky Film team, where she oversees color grading, design, photography, 2D and 3D animation and many other production and post-production tasks.
In 1997 Claire transitioned from painting (using oil, watercolors, pencil, and airbrush) to Digital Retouching and later CGI. She garnered broad experience as a Digital Artist, working in many different work environments that range from service bureaus, to high-end boutiques, to the world’s largest ad agencies. She has worked in fashion, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and many other agency fields. Her work regularly appears in magazines, in newsprint, and on the biggest billboards in Times Square. Claire has spent the majority of her career so far as a Retoucher/Digital Artist at Ogilvy for 20 years, where she honed her skills and worked with some of the best in the business.
She is now thrilled be using the skills garnered in advertising as a filmmaking team with her wife Kimberly Reed. Claire oversees color grading, design, photography, 2D and 3D animation and many other production and post-production tasks.
Claire has a 4th Dan Blackbelt in Taekwondo, and gets an immense thrill from flying through the air and breaking boards. She loves teaching adults and children, dedicating as much time as she can to the growth of Taekwondo. Claire also loves going on long bike rides with her local women’s cycling club and spending too much money on bicycles and cycling gear.
