His work for Discovery and the History Channel has taken Tim around the world for series and specials such as Engineering an Empire and The Dark Ages. Highlights include shooting the award-winning narrative feature Li Tong in Beijing, climbing the Statue of Liberty for NOVA, hunting anacondas in Venezuela, and crossing the Siberian Arctic aboard a Russian nuclear icebreaker.
Recently Tim served as the director of photography on the six-episode series Rising: Rebuilding Ground Zero for Discovery/Dreamworks, and traveled through Sierra Leone for the new documentary Leh Wi Tok. Tim co-founded Red Antelope Films with Sun Come Up director Jennifer Redfearn, and the pair have just completed their feature documentary, Tocando la Luz (Touch the Light).
