Rabbit in the Moon by Chizu Omori The internment of Japanese Americans in WWII. Rabbit in the Moon bonus features include: New interviews with key figures, rare archival footage, filmmaker's commentary and detailed fact files. Rabbit in the Moon, was also awarded a grant to give a free DVD to every high school in the state of Washington by the Washington Civil Liberties Public Education Program, an agency which promotes better understanding of the Internment of Japanese Americans during WW II. Liberty: 3 Stories about Life & Death by Pam Walton has won Best Short Documentary, Paris Lesbian Film Festival "Liberty manages to make death and dying real and, at the same time, full of love and support. This is the way all of us would like to die, I suspect.” said Linda Weckler, School of Social Work, Carleton University Filmmaker Faye Lederman was a guest speaker at the Dec. 2004 Limmud Jewish learning conference in England. She screened her films, Women of the Wall, and The New Old Country. Ms. Lederman also spoke on a panel about the history and present state of Jewish film. Pat Ferrero's award winning films Quilts in Women's Lives will be featured at Folkstreams.net. This site includes special film extras such as transcripts, director bio and more! Quilts in Women's Lives along with Hearts and Hands: A Social History of 19th Century Women and Their Quilts are also streaming at Center for the Quilt. Viewers can go to the Center for the Quilt site and view streaming videos of each film.
