Katy Haas

Katy Haas is a documentary photographer and filmmaker from New Hampshire who has worked with Stephen David Entertainment, Ark Media, and for many years with Ken Burns's production company Florentine Films on award winning projects including on The Dust Bowl, Country Music and Benjamin Franklin. Her independent work explores the wider impacts of policy on people and ecosystems. La Frontière, about border communities in Maine, produced and directed with Megan Ruffe, has been broadcast on multiple PBS stations and nominated for a BNE Emmy.
