Kristy Guevara-Flanagan is a film and videomaker who resides in the Bay Area. She has worked extensively with youth in the arts and many of her works focus on youth perspectives. Her award-winning film, El Corrido de Cecilia Rios, has screened at such prestigious festivals as Sundance and the San Francisco International.

Her other works include the video Trace, a personal narrative exploring the relationship between daughters and absent fathers, and the experimental film series, Love and Strife.
