New Day Films is the most successful distribution cooperative in the media industry. It is democratically run by its members – more than 80 independent filmmakers from all over the United States.  The members make major decisions at our annual meetings and through our online community. The members also do the coop’s work – from maintaining our web site to producing our catalog to reaching out to filmmakers who are potential New Day members. To help manage New Day, members elect a Steering Committee of team leaders to two-to-three year terms. New Day also relies upon a professional facilitator – and other professionals – to keep our coop business running smoothly.
